How to Stop WiFi Network Alerts on Your iPhone

I have a wireless network at home that I always connect to with my iOS devices; however, when I'm on 3G and away from my home network, my device keeps asking me to connect to open Wi-Fi hotspots when I open Safari. Is there a way to disable this feature and have my iOS devices only connect to my home wireless network?

By disabling "Ask to Join Networks," you'll stop those popups every time your phone smells a Wi-Fi network.

You can absolutely disable the Wi-Fi connection alert dialog by heading to Settings > General > Network > Wi-Fi, and turning off the feature to "Ask to Join Networks." Once that's disabled, you will no longer be prompted to join a wireless network. Instead, you will join wireless networks by visiting this screen again, and selecting the wireless network you wish to join. If you have previously connected to a wireless network (like your network at home), then your iOS device will automatically connect to it the next time you are in range.
