iOS devices are great for showing off your photos to family members because of it's ease of use and fluidity when perusing your photos. However, most of us don't carry around our entire iPhoto library on our iPhone or iPad because of space limitations and Photo Stream's limited quanity. Fortunately, with the help of an application like Blinq, you can remotely access your entire iPhoto or Aperture library from home via your iOS device.
What You'll Need
>> Blinq for Mac
>> Blinq for iOS
1. Install and Set Up Blinq Photo for Mac
After downloading the application from the Blinq Photo website, you will need to launch the application to begin setup. Click Next on the first screen.

On the second screen, either sign in with your existing Blinq username and password combination, or create a new account. Click Next when done.

The next screen will prompt you to specify a name for the computer you're using. On this screen, you can also set whether you wish Blinq to automatically start when your computer starts. Click Next when done.

On the final screen, you will be asked whether or not you wish to use your iPhoto or Aperture library. If you have both applications, you can select the checkboxes beside both.

2. Install and Setup Blinq Photo for iOS

Blinq for iOS can be downloaded for free from the iTunes App Store. Install this application just as you would any other iOS app. The application is Universal, so it will work on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad natively.

After launching the app, you'll be prompted to sign in using your existing login (or create a new login if you haven't done that already). Enter your credentials, and then tap on the "Go" button on the keyboard to complete the sign in process.
3. Connect and Access Your Mac's Photos
After signing in and a few seconds pass, Blinq will automatically find all of the computers linked to your account. Tap on the linked computer to begin perusing the photos stored on it.

Blinq will display all of the iPhoto Events stored on the selected Mac, and you can tap on the event to get to the individual photos, just as you would in the Photos app built into iOS.

If you need to transfer one of your photos to your iOS device, navigate to an individual photo, and select the share button in the bottom, right-hand corner of the app.

In the selection sheet that appears, select "Save to Photos App," or any of the other options you wish.

If you don't have an iOS device, or you'd rather show off your photos on a larger screen, you can log into BlinqPhoto.com and sign in with your credentials to pull your iPhoto library and display pictures through a web browser.
